  • End-users should report bugs to their RushFiles Reseller.
  • Client log files are mandatory when reporting a bug concerning our native client apps for Windows and macOS. Scroll down to see where to find them.
  • If possible, please provide screen captures showcasing the issue.




How to find the application version:

  • PC Client:
    • Right-click the client's systray icon.
    • Or Open the UI and go to the Settings page.
  • macOS Client:
    • Click the app icon in the top bar.
    • Click the "cogwheel" icon.
    • Click Settings.
  • iOS / Android Clients:
    • Tap Settings in the bottom menu.
    • Tap Profile.
  • Old Web Client \ Old Web Client Reseller:
    • Hover your cursor over the (i) button in the top-right corner.
  • New Web Client:
    • The version number is shared between the Old and New Web Clients. Until a dedicated button is implemented in the New Web Client, please switch to the Old Web Client in your Profile menu, and follow the instructions above.




Log files default path:


  • PC Client:
    • C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\RfUserData\NewClientLogs
    • %localappdata%\RfUserData\NewClientLogs
  • macOS Client:
    • /Users/yourusername/Library/Group Containers/SMTN535HNY.group.com.rushfiles.clouddrive/Logs
    • Note: the exact folder within Group Containers is different for each whitelabelled client app. If you're a reseller with a white-labelled client app, please create a ticket to receive the exact path if needed.
