To guide you through the process of creating public links and ensures that everyone has access to the same information and resources, making it easier to work together towards a common goal.


Users can create public links in any of the following RushFiles platforms.

  • Web Client
  • PC Client
  • Mac App
  • Mobile apps (iOS and Android)

Web Client


1. Locate the file or folder you want to create a public link for within your Share.


2. Click the ellipsis icon, file or folder options and select Create public link.


3. Set the the follow public link settings and click the Create button.


4. Public link will be generated — Copy and start sharing the public link.

PC Client


1. Launch the PC client.


2. Navigate to the RushFiles drive.


3. Locate the file or folder you want to create a public link for within your share.

  • Right-click on the file
  • Click RushFiles and select Create link in clipboard or Send link in email


4. Configure the following Public Link Settings.


For Create link in clipboard — a notification message will appear (lower-right); public link is placed in your clipboard.


For Send link in email — your default mail app will pop up; to start sharing public links through mail.

Mac App


1. Launch the Mac app.



2. Open Finder and navigate to the RushFiles drive.


3. Locate the file or folder you want to create a public link for within your share.

  • Right-click on the file
  • Click RushFiles and select Create link in clipboard or Send link in email


4. Configure the following Public Link Settings and click Ok button.


For Create link in clipboard — a notification message will appear (lower-right); public link is placed in your clipboard.


For Send link in email — your default mail app will pop up; to start sharing public links through mail.

iPhone


1. Launch the RushFiles iOS app.


2. Locate the file or folder within the Share.


3. Click the ellipsis icon, select Create public link, and click Confirm once set.


5. Link would be copied to the clipboard; start sharing the link.

2. Locate the file or folder, click the ellipsis icon, select Create public link.
