We have received a report that the RushFiles Android app crashes at startup on Pixel and Samsung devices with Android 14 — a fix is being implemented.
Issue Description:
The app automatically crash when trying to open it, and mobile phones with Android 14 may experience this issue.
The crash may happen when the device language is not set to English language when trying to log in to the app.
The crash may happen when the device language is set to Danish language when trying to log in to the app. Other languages may be affected as well.
RushFiles Android APK Version:
- v5.1.3
Example Affected Device:
- Google Pixel 6 / Google Pixel 7 Pro / Samsung devices
OS Version:
- Android 14 (and Samsung devices on OneUI 6 or later)
Error Message or Code:
- App stopped working - Crashes at start up.
Workaround:
- Uninstall the RushFiles Android app from your Android device.
- Change your device language to English.
- Install the RushFiles Android app to your Android device.
- Open the app and log in with your user credentials.
- You can change your device language back to Danish.
