What is Session log?
It is a feature that lets users monitor activity during a given session — it keeps track of activity (e.g., Upload, Download, Update, etc.) that occurs on the PC client.
It is important that session logs can provide accurate context about what the user was doing when a specific error happened.
In addition, this information can be used to help troubleshoot problems and ensure that the PC client is running properly.
Session Log Retention
In the UI — "Session log", operations performed in the last 12 hours are displayed, with 800 maximum entries and retains file events from the last 14 days which can be exported as a .csv file.
PC Client UI: Last 12 hours, with 800 maximum entries.
Exportable: Last 14 days, no maximum entries.
Important Note:
Records older than 14 days are removed continuously. And the session log, along with everything else, is removed after a logout.
