Why doesn't the U: drive mount on the Surface Pro X? : Helpdesk

This is because the Surface Pro X has an ARM-based processor that requires drivers designed for the ARM processor architecture.

These drivers are not available for the software that we use to create and mount the virtual drive, hence the drive will not mount.

We will remove this article once ARM-based CPUs, and in turn, the Surface Pro X become supported.
