The RushFiles solution is built with a multi-tier hierarchy, making it possible for each reseller to have both sub resellers and companies, which are both customers of the original reseller. The end-user of the solution is a member of a company. The users share files on RushFiles shared folders, called shares.

Reseller

A Reseller is a company that sells the solution to others, and often has rebranded
most parts of the solution.

Resellers can have both company customers or other reseller in their supply chain, which are in this case sub resellers of this reseller.

Company

Is the end customer who purchases the solution to replace an in-house storage server or consumer cloud product. Companies do not resell the solution, and don't have access to the reseller administration portal.

Reseller Admin

An administrator in the reseller’s organization that can create and manage companies and sub-resellers.

Company Admin

An administrator in the company administering the shares and users in the company’s solution.

User

Is a uniquely identifiable person (email address) that has access to shares and data. Since the user is identified by the email address, this attribute cannot be changed for any user. If the user wishes to change email addresses, a completely new user has to be created.

Share

Is a "root" shared folder in the RushFiles system. Users can be granted access to shared data on a Share level.

Note Since the user is identified by the email address, this attribute cannot be changed for any user. If the user wishes to change email addresses, a completely new user has to be created.
