In some cases, Microsoft Office opens files in Protected View.
This has nothing to do with RushFiles, and happens because Office detects the file to be unsafe in some cases.
Mostly this happens with old versions of office files that have been downloaded from the Internet.
Most common files opened in protected view are:
- Word 97-2003 files (.doc, .dot)
- Excel 97-2003 files (.xls, .xla, .xlt, .xlm, .xlb, .xlt)
- PowerPoint 97-2003 files (.ppt, .pot., pps, .ppa)
