We discovered a bug wherein deleted files in Finder remain on the server for macOS 13 Ventura users.



Issue Determination:


On macOS 13 Ventura, when deleting a file from the virtual drive in Finder, the file is only removed from Finder. The file is still available in other clients as it is not deleted from the server.

  • Operating System: macOS 13 Ventura



Solution:


Users are advised to avoid updating to macOS 13 Ventura in the meantime.



Status:


We have an ongoing investigation and are in communication with Apple, working on this together to resolve this issue.
