The PC Client's web installer always installs the client app for the Admin user, even if it's run on a non-admin user as it needs to run in Admin context. We are working on a change that will give users the option to install the application for all Windows user profiles.
As a workaround, please consider using an Admin user to use with RushFiles.
If that is not possible, you may install the .msi version of our client, which installs the client for all Windows users:
https://update.rushfiles.com/PcClient/install/RushFiles/Msi/RF_Installer_Latest.msi
The differences are:
- The installation path by default is C:\Program Files (x86)\RushFiles
- This version does not receive automatic updates
The changes to the web installer that allows the installation for multiple users are expected to be released with version 2.5.0 of the PC Client.
